The Digest
The Digest is your Project's daily email. It comes once a day to every member of the Project, with the new Results since the last one. It starts once you finish Setup.
What's in it
The Digest carries only your new Results, grouped by Monitor. Each Monitor's Match term comes with its Tags, then its top 5 new Results that nobody has dismissed, newest first. Each Result shows its title, an excerpt with the Match term highlighted, its Community and the date it was posted, in your Project's time zone. Unlike on the Results page, the excerpt is one paragraph: the post's line breaks are run together. Each Result links both to the Result in VoxUno and to the original post. When a Monitor has more, "+N more" says how many, and links to the rest on your Results page.
A Result that matched several Monitors is listed once, under one of them, with all its Match terms highlighted. Results and the Dashboard covers working through Results.
The Digest says nothing about your Followed Communities: each one's status shows on your Communities page. See Communities.
When it's sent
The Digest goes out once a day at your Project's send time, in your Project's time zone. Each one covers everything since the one before; the first covers everything since you finished Setup.
The send time starts at 08:00 in the time zone of the Owner who created the Project. Owners can change the send time, to any whole hour, and the time zone on the Email tab in Configuration, or turn the Digest off for the whole Project. Members see these settings but can't change them.
On a day with no new Results, nothing is sent.
The Digest is daily only. There's no weekly Digest, and no Slack or other alerts: the Digest is how VoxUno tells you about new Results.
Your own copy
Each member has their own switch on the Email tab, to stop or start receiving the Project's Digest. It changes only your copy: everyone else still gets theirs.
At the foot of every Digest are links to change when it's sent and to unsubscribe from that Project's Digest, and your email app can show a one-click unsubscribe too. Unsubscribing turns off your copy of that Project's Digest, and you can turn it back on from the Email tab.
If you belong to several Projects, each sends its own Digest, with its own settings.
When your Project is read-only
A read-only Project doesn't collect new Results and doesn't send its Digest. Subscribing again starts both again: see Plans and billing.
